Welcome to Wow Service Mentor Insights, I share where tips and secrets (and hopefully others will too) on how to engage your employees and customers to create a “wow” experience every time. But first, I thought I should clarify, what is a “wow”?
Dictionaries list “wow” as a noun and a verb, as well as being an exclamation.
- n. an extraordinary success
- v. to thrill; to gain an enthusiastic response from (someone)
- exclamation. an expression of excitement, surprise, wonder, pleasure or the like
Universally, I think we can agree that a “wow” is an experience that exceeds our expectations. Wouldn’t you love to consistently say that you are wowed?
The catch to this is that we get used to being spoiled, and soon we expect what we used to think was special, if it happens all the time. So, if that is the case, how can a business manage to “wow” their customers all the time? It takes work, and focus. But it is not impossible.
On the bright side, the “wow” feeling is one that we enjoy and want to repeat. And the research proves that people who feel special and connected to others from feeling good are loyal (employees and customers alike). People do want to be happy. All we have to do is come up with lots of things that make us feel that way…
I hope you will join me on this journey. It’s going to be a lot of fun!
